I have been unable to find much information on Daisy's mother (dam) Wyoming St Teresa and consequently, no information from that side of her heritage. Her father (sire) however was a greyhound named Trouper Zeke. He is the son of (sire) Wincarnis and (dam) Nice Catch. Between 1991 and 1997, Trouper Zeke sired 1,852 pups. He ranked 5th on the Final Sire Standings for 1997 with offspring's capturing 239 top grade wins. Daisy Mae is really impressed with the accomplishments of her dad, brothers, sisters, and cousins (she didn't do to bad herself). But as our research continued, things became even more interesting.

Daisy Mae's Grandfather,Wincarnis is the son of Greyhound Hall of Famer K's Flak and (dam) Angola. So far, we haven't be able to uncover much information about Daisy's grandparents, however she was ecstatic when she learned about her Great Grandfather, and Great-great Grandfather.

Whelped April 25, 1977, K's Flak is the son of another Hall of Famer Onie Jones and (dam) Montague Memory. K's Flak broke track records at Wonderland Park, Derby Lane and Biscayne during his spectacular racing career. He was named captain of the 1979 All-America Team, and also won the National Greyhound Association's Flash Sir Award the same year. K's Flak was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987 - the same year as his father (and Daisy Mae's Great-great Grandfather) Onie Jones.

Onie Jones is the offspring of (sire) Hoefer and (dam) Elsie Jones and was whelped May 1, 1972. He won the 1974 Derby Lane Distance Classic, however, an injury cut his racing career short. His greatest achievement however, was his stud record, and he was named the number one stud in 1982 (that really got Daisy's heart throbbing). Onie sired hundreds of superb racing Greyhounds, and today, his off spring can still be found leading the pack across the finish line.
